If your business is selling alcohol in some way, you need to have operating license, which is required by the government
…or basically any place that sells or produces alcohol.
This is a mandatory training that will allow you to obtain a license for the sale of alcoholic beverages. To obtain this license for a drinking establishment or restaurant, you must both hold the Exploitation License, which we issue to you at the end of the training, and make a preliminary declaration.(taken from the French website)
